CORNER CLAMP*

A neat idea from the USA. Consists of an aluminium angle, on each side of which is an adjustable finger. Holds two pieces of material exactly at right angles for soldering or gluing. Slots in the corner of the angle allow access to the inside of the joint.

CC Max. reach 60mm. (2.75in.). Max. thickness of components to be jointed 6.3mm (.25in.) typically. See note

* Manufactured in U.S.A.                                                      Temporarily unavailable

*TIP*   When soldering, apply PTFE tape to the surface of the finger which is in contact with the work-piece. This will act as a heatsink, and avoid the possibility of soldering the job to the clamp

The clamp consists of a pair of brass "fingers" attached to an aluminium angle frame. Pressure is applied to the components being held, by means of the adjustable clamp screws. The soft, spongy pads on the inside faces of the fingers allow components to be held without damage to fine detail. For soldering, these fingers are reversed.
